Welcome to Arrowtown 150 (19th - 22nd October 2012)

In 1862 gold was discovered in the Arrow River, 150 years on we are celebrating these Miners that braved the cold in search of gold nuggets. Arrowtown and many towns in the Lakes District were formed, today they have become popular visitor destinations and one of the fastest growing regions in New Zealand.
